Rodolf is currently expecting to receive the official charter for his library within a week. The Little Free Library movement began in 2009 and has since expanded significantly due to its innovative approach to encourage literacy and community bonding, now boasting over 150,000 registered locations across more than 115 countries.

In addition to the library’s opening, a new initiative called The Unbanned Book Club is set to launch in response to recent book bans in Duval County. This club will work to promote the availability of previously banned books through Little Free Libraries. The initiative seeks to combat censorship and uphold diverse viewpoints in literature by providing banned books in specially branded Little Free Libraries.
