Jacksonville Beach is set to welcome a new T.J. Maxx store on May 18, located at the South Beach Regional shopping center. The new store will occupy a 25,000-square-foot area at 4054 Third St. S and will take the place of the recently closed Bed Bath & Beyond store. The grand opening will provide extended hours from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m, while regular operating hours will be daily from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This opening will expand the presence of T.J. Maxx in the Northeast Florida region, where already five locations exist: one in Yulee and four others in Jacksonville. T.J. Maxx, part of the TJX Companies and based in Framingham, Massachusetts, operates more than 1,300 stores across 49 states and Puerto Rico.
The South Beach Regional shopping center itself is owned by Jacksonville-based Regency Centers Corp and spans a total area of 302,737 square feet. It includes a range of anchor stores such as The Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack, Ross Dress For Less, Trader Joe’s, and Staples.
T.J. Maxx is well-known for offering a wide selection of brand name and designer fashion, accessories, jewelry, home goods, and beauty products—all at competitive prices. The company aims to provide customers with high-quality merchandise at great value, a mission emphasized by T.J. Maxx’s president.
In addition to providing shopping opportunities, the new location plans to give back to the community. T.J. Maxx will donate $10,000 to Operation New Uniform as part of its opening celebration. Furthermore, the store will be involved in T.J. Maxx’s ongoing fundraising campaign for Save the Children’s U.S. Programs, portraying the retailer’s commitment to social responsibility.
As Jacksonville Beach continues to grow, the addition of T.J. Maxx reflects the ongoing interest in enhancing shopping experiences in the area. With its rich range of products and robust community involvement, the new store is anticipated to attract both local residents and visitors alike.
