The concert will begin at 6:30 pm and features special guests John Waite, Wang Chung, and John Cafferty. This event marks the start of a series of exciting activities in the area.

On Friday, May 30, the Jacksonville Symphony will pay tribute to the iconic Olivia Newton-John, performing her beloved hits at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts – Jacoby Hall, with shows starting at 7:30 pm on both Friday and Saturday. This concert promises to be a highlight of the weekend, bringing nostalgia and live music to avid fans.

In addition to the concert, there are various events planned for Thursday and Friday. On May 29, attendees can enjoy “Untold Stories: Trail” at the Florida Theatre at 7:30 pm or catch Tyler Childers with his On The Road tour at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, starting at 7:45 pm. These events cater to a diverse audience, showcasing a range of entertainment options.

On Friday evening, more activities are on the horizon. Sam Barber will host the Restless Mind Tour at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre at 7:00 pm, featuring special guests Waylon Wyatt and Noah Rinke. In Historic Avondale, the Amplified Avondale event will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm, promoting local artists and musicians. For electronic music fans, AFROJACK will perform at DECCA LIVE at 10:00 pm.

Saturday, May 31, brings an array of family-friendly and community events, starting with the JaxParks Monopoly Tournament at 8:30 am at the Jacksonville Main Library. The Riverside Arts Market will also celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, inviting community participation and appreciation for local educators.

Other Saturday highlights include the Heather Loveland Dance Academy’s 11th Annual Spring Concert at the Florida Theatre at 7:00 pm, showcasing the talent of young dancers. A Brush With Nature will be held at the Jacksonville Arboretum from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the Village Dance Center will perform at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts – Moran Theater at 5:30 pm, enriching the weekend with performances from local dance groups.

As the weekend concludes on Sunday, June 1, the Heather Loveland Dance Academy will present its final show at 7:00 pm at the Florida Theatre, providing one last opportunity for audiences to enjoy the students’ hard work and dedication to dance.

Looking ahead to Monday, June 2, music lovers can look forward to Styx with Kevin Cronin and Don Felder on The Brotherhood of Rock Tour at Daily’s Place, beginning at 6:45 pm. At the same time, Bravo Dance will be showcased at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts – Moran Theater at 6:30 pm, rounding out a lively series of performances and events in the area.
