There’s also a free all-levels yoga class at Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing Park, aimed at providing relaxation and mindfulness to participants. July 4 Celebrations

This year’s July 4 celebrations come with an impressive lineup of events across Northeast Florida, kicking off the festivities early in the day. Klutho Park will host a longstanding tradition with a baseball game at 10 a.m., followed by the first pitch at 11 a.m.

One of the highlights will be the city-sponsored fireworks display in Downtown Jacksonville at 9 p.m., illuminating the sky over the St. Johns River. Nearby communities will also host their own celebrations, including:

  • Keystone Heights: A 5K race, baby-crawling contest, live music, a hot dog-eating contest, and fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
  • St. Marys, GA: Parades, live music, and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • Palatka: Food trucks, vendors, and fireworks at dusk.
  • Moosehaven, Orange Park: Live music, food trucks, and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • Northeast Florida Fairgrounds, Callahan: Live music, a watermelon-eating contest, and fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
  • St. Augustine: All-Star Orchestra concert at 6 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
  • Fernandina Beach: A street festival starting at 6 p.m. with fireworks at 9 p.m.
  • Flagler Executive Airport, Palm Coast: Fireworks celebration at dawn after a parade.
  • Soul Harbor Church, Glen St. Mary: Live music, a 50/50 raffle, and fireworks at dusk.
  • VyStar Ballpark: A baseball game between the Jumbo Shrimp and Charlotte Knights at 7:05 p.m. followed by fireworks.

This month will not only include the July 4 festivities. Upcoming concerts feature local sensation Lil Duval performing his hometown show at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on July 11. Other notable performances include Janarious Wheeler, known as Lil Poppa, on July 19, and a unique concert experience on July 24 featuring KISS-style performers. The month culminates with two nights of Shania Twain performing at Daily’s Place on July 29 and 30.
