Upon arriving at a residence on Peach Drive, officers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) discovered Ochoa-Menjivar suffering from multiple stab wounds. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterward. Authorities quickly identified Munoz-Ochoa as the primary suspect in the case but refrained from disclosing the specific details of how he was connected to the crime.
This tragic incident marks a continuous pattern of troubling behavior from Munoz-Ochoa. In November 2020, Ochoa-Menjivar contacted law enforcement, reporting that her son had threatened her life with a knife during a heated argument.
