The Gators have a storied history with this tournament, having clinched 30 titles over the years. From 1989 to 1997, they even enjoyed an incredible streak, winning nine titles in a row! Last spring, the Gators made an impressive showing by placing two teams in the top two spots, with scores of -26 and -23. The excitement doesn’t stop there; Ian Gilligan set the sky-high standard last year, tying a program record for a single-round score with an astonishing bogey-free 62. Talk about a performance!
This year’s event is more than just a chance for glory; it’s also a chance for the team to bounce back. After finishing fifth in the Southwestern Invitational last month, the Gators are eager to show off their skills on home turf. The course itself is a par 70, stretching over 6,701 yards, providing a challenging but fair test for all participants.

Shaping up for a bright start, tee times are set for a modified shotgun start, kicking off at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday. Golf enthusiasts can keep track of the action through Golfstat, which will manage the scoring throughout the weekend.
