Recently acquired by Fox Run Properties LLC for a staggering $2.71 million, this 279-acre property has undergone some serious renovations and is set to bring a fresh wave of excitement to the golfing community.
In a shift of ownership, Vail Resorts, which had acquired the club alongside the Okemo Mountain ski resort back in 2018, decided to sell the golf club to make way for this new era. As part of the transition, the golf club has been rebranded as Fox Run Golf Club—a name that promises an inviting and vibrant experience.
Even before the acquisition was finalized, extensive renovations were underway, skillfully managed by McAlpine Contracting. The first phase of these renovations focused on revitalizing the golf course and its amenities, ensuring a beautiful and functional space for everyone to enjoy.
Fox Run Golf Club is no ordinary golf course; it stands out as New England’s only heathland-style golf course, featuring a stunning 6,400-yard layout adorned with undulating bent-grass greens, lush trees, and decorative grasses, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Green Mountains. The course welcomes around 20,000 rounds of golf each year, making it a favorite hotspot for golf lovers.
