The Florida Lottery confirmed that the ticket was bought at the store located at 632 Beach Blvd. The winner has 180 days to claim their prize, with November 4 marking the last day for the claim. For those eager to participate in the next lottery drawing, the overall jackpot has reset to $1 million for the next draw scheduled on May 10.

Lottery enthusiasts can participate in Florida Lotto games twice a week, with drawings occurring on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 11:15 p.m. Tickets can be purchased up until 10:55 p.m. on drawing nights. Players can select six numbers ranging from 1 to 53 or opt for a quick-pick option where the numbers are randomly generated for them. An additional feature called the double play option allows players to pay an extra $1 for a chance to win an extra $250,000 in a bonus drawing.

The odds of winning any prize in the Florida Lotto are 1 in 7.61, while the odds of grabbing the jackpot stand at 1 in 22,957,480. Those winning $250,000 or more have their names kept private temporarily for 90 days due to Florida law, whereas general winner information is public.
