Schools are encouraged to nominate their exemplary teams by 7 p.m. on the final Saturday of each month, while voting for this month’s nominees will commence on Wednesday morning, closing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7. Voters can only cast one vote per device per hour.
This September, several teams have demonstrated remarkable performance on the field, helping them secure nominations in the Team of the Month contest. The Barracudas lead the pack with an impressive 16-1 record for the month, claiming victory at the Battle at the Beach in Venice and ranking within the top 10 of the Florida High School Athletic Association. Meanwhile, the Crusaders triumphed at the Florida Catholic Invitational in Orlando against a competitive statewide field.
The Bulldogs showcased their skills by placing first at the FCA/Creekside Invitational held at Deerwood, achieving a commendable score of 2-over 290. The Knights also stood out, leading local teams with a fifth place finish at the Florida Horse Park Invitational on September 6, and later won the Bale-N-Trail Original on September 27.
