JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville University women’s soccer closed its regular season Saturday with a 2-0 shutout of North Florida at Southern Oak Stadium, giving the Dolphins two wins over their crosstown rival in the same season for the first time.

Millie Urquhart broke the scoreless tie in the 48th minute, finishing a feed from Nahia Morales Lopez inside the box. Julia Delprat added the insurance goal on a penalty kick in the 67th minute after Madelyn Radtke drew a foul, and Delprat now leads the team with five goals.

Junior goalkeeper Taylor Gardner made three saves for her third full shutout of the year. The Dolphins held UNF to three shots on target while putting six on goal of their own, and both teams finished with 11 shots. A crowd of 204 watched the match.

Saki Sanno led Jacksonville with four shots, while Delprat and Radtke each had two. North Florida goalkeeper Sofia Miliancano kept the Ospreys in the match through a busy first half, turning away four Dolphins chances overall before the second-half goals broke through.

The win also ended a drought in the series. It was the first shutout win for JU over UNF since 2023, and it came one season after the two programs split their meetings with a win for each side and a draw. Jacksonville beat UNF on the road earlier this fall before finishing the sweep at home.

Jacksonville finished 6-7-4 overall and 4-4-2 in ASUN play. The Dolphins enter the conference tournament as the fifth seed and meet fourth-seeded West Florida on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. in Fort Myers. West Florida beat JU 3-1 in Pensacola earlier this fall. The tournament match will be played at Florida Gulf Coast University, and it marks the third straight postseason trip for the Dolphins under head coach Ryan Moon.
